Karl is originally from upstate New York, now residing in the Lehigh Valley, Pa.   He has been playing guitar since age 8.   His varied musical influences include bands such as Yes, Jethro Tull, Little Feat and country greats such as Albert Lee and Chet Atkins.   As a member of many different combos and rock bands over the past seven years, Karl has performed in venues of all sizes from upstate New York to Delaware.   Notably, he has appeared with Twist of Fate, the Starlites, Mike Dugan's Blues Mission, Beef, and Different Strings.   Currently he is also performing with the progressive rock band, Pinnacle, and the acoustic duo, Red.

When his wife, Tammy, approached him with the idea for a Modern Country band, Karl seized it as an opportunity to work in an area of music he had not previously explored.   He soon found that Country music was as fun to play as it was challenging.
