Here is the archive of Soundscapes Concert #5 featuring
Technicolor Travel Agency and Twyndyllyngs.
It took place at the Nazareth Center for the Arts on Saturday,
April 24, 2010, marking the return to operations for the concert series.
The doors opened at 7:30 pm when the crowd was greeted by a CD playing
music by Richard Lainhart, scheduled for the next concert.
Thanks to Ross Nunamaker and the volunteers of the Nazareth Center for
the Arts for providing refreshments and help.
Technicolor Travel Agency is the musical duo of Greg Waltzer
(synthesizers and sequencers) and Johnny Doyle (guitar). Their
improvisational excursions take the listener on a journey of the
mind, fusing world motifs with psychedelic guitar and spaced-out
electronics.
"Wholesome, sexy, tripped out, technologically advanced earthy
space songs to enjoy around a campfire on Mars. Don't beam up, I'm
ridin' this one out!"
- Chris Francz, ArtAttack Radio
Photos from the concert will be posted as well as more videos.
Twyndyllyngs consists of Howard Moscovitz (synthesizer, iPhone, iPad)
and Bill Fox (synthesizer, softsynths, guitar, lap slide guitar, loops).
Both members have played across North America and Europe as individuals
and together. Some of these include The Ambient Ping (Canada), Different
Skies (Arizona), the Ricochet Gatherings (Okefenokee, Mojave, Yellowstone,
Poland, Canary Islands, Italy, Romania, Croatia), and more.
