The Concert Announcement is below.

The Soundscapes Concert Series is intended to bring electronic music to the Lehigh Valley by being the concert companion to Galactic Travels and Thought Radio, two radio shows in the Allentown - Lehigh Valley area of eastern Pennsylvania. Like the radio shows, the SOUNDSCAPES CONCERT SERIES features Electronic, Ambient and Spacemusic. There are many reasons for starting this concert series, not the least of which is to bring the music heard on Galactic Travels and Thought Radio to the area in a comfortable, friendly and relaxed concert setting. This also has the byproduct of providing valuable performance opportunities to the musicians who put so much energy into their craft. This is their chance to step out of the safety of their studios and connect with the fans of electronic music.

There is no better way to build community than through music. The goal of the SOUNDSCAPES CONCERT SERIES is to build a local Electronic Music community by providing an environment of music and the opportunity to meet like-minded people.

Sunday, October 20, 2013, the Soundscapes Concert Series returns to the Nazareth Center for the Arts featuring VIC HENNEGAN. Doors open at 7:30 pm and the concert is at 8:00 pm. The concert is FREE and a suggested donation is requested to support the performer and to enable the Nazareth Center for the Arts to pay operating expenses. The NCA is located at 30 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA 18064 just off of Route 191 on the southwest corner of Belvidere Street and South Spruce Street. Check the NCA site for parking information at KNBT and Lafayette Ambassador banks. Here is a map to the NCA.

VIC HENNEGAN: An artist and a spiritualist, Vic contemplates the state of humanity through his music. Hennegan's instinctive hand creates techno-trance and ambient music in a wildly fun, uplifting experience that will take your soul on a journey to the center of ecstasy. His music emanates a unique warmth which moves the listener to a state of euphoria.

Vic has been writing, recording, producing and performing electronic music for many years. He has performed at The Gathering Concert Series in Philadelphia, Cyberstock of Los Angeles, Dance Shows for Fumbling towards Ecstasy and other venues around the world. With computers, samplers, vocals and synthesizers, Vic creates music that is a spiritual experience.

Hennegan's music is complimented by the guest artists he works with such as Surface Tension's synthesist extraordinaire, Dean De Benedictis and Becca Fuchs, whose incredible vocal range spans from operatic to soulful and sexy. His music has been heard on such radio shows as Alien Air Music, Star's End, Echoes, Hearts of Space, and Galactic Travels.

Hennegan's compositions are featured on two different Echoes compilations: Soundscape for Echoes on the release "Refractions:

The Echoes Living Room Concerts, Volume 12," with internationally renowned electronic musicians Andreas Vollenweider and Michael Brook; and "Echoes Location, The Echoes Living Room Concerts, Volume 17," featuring a live version of his most popular itunes download, Patagonian Rain. The host of Echoes, John Diliberto, personally invited Vic Hennegan to participate in both compilations and has placed Hennegan's 2011 release "Field of Worlds and Mirrors," as one of the top 25 albums of the year.

Hennegan is a practicing Buddhist. This faith aims to manifest enlightenment in the lives of its practitioners. By tapping into an individual's creative potential, one can create a thriving and peaceful community. Through his faith and his music, Hennegan invokes the timeless tradition of music's healing powers. He believes that, "We are the creators of our own universe. I seek to help people understand this very fact through my music."

"A unique warmth emanates from Hennegan's music moving the listener to a state of euphoria. Through complex and insistent rhythms and vocals, Hennegan accomplishes a lush dynamic that relentlessly strives to entertain." (Matt Howarth, Sonic Curiousity)
